I’ve been repeatedly surprised at the response to this painting.

Some see it as disturbing. Some see it as hopeful. I’ve been told it’s calming, even that it brings a sense of happiness. I guess this is because it poses a choice. and the choice made unconsciously by each viewer will vary from person to person and produce uniquely personal responses.

So I’ve decided to reissue this as a larger print, closer to the size of the original, which will be a limited run.
